KEIS X800 Heated Outer Gloves

KEIS, the UK’s leading heated clothing specialists, have added a new outer glove to their collection for winter 2013/14, giving those planning to ride through the chilly season much needed relief from frozen fingers.

The X800 Heated Outer Gloves feature Micro Alloy Element Technology, which provides reliable and even heat, whilst still allowing ease of movement and feel – crucial for winter riding, where conditions require careful operation of the throttle, clutch and front brake.

Like all KEIS garments, the gloves come with a fused supply lead for connection direct to a 12-volt vehicle battery. A ‘cigarette lighter’ adaptor is also available for vehicles fitted with a 12-volt power socket and users who have fitted an OptiMate type charger lead to the battery can connect their Keis gloves to it.
Heat is controlled by a button on the cuff of each glove, so the rider can tailor the temperature whilst on the move. There are four settings – low, medium, maximum and off.

In other respects the Keis X800 have similar features to traditional winter gloves, with a leather palm, Dintex waterproof/breathable membrane, 100g Thinsulate insulation and hard reinforcement over the knuckles.
The X800′s can also be connected to the KEIS X10 and X20 Heated Waistcoats, as well as the X25 jacket, plugging directly into sockets in the garment using dedicated connection leads. Current Draw is approximately two amps, so it will not put undue strain on the motorcycle’s charging system.
Keis X800 Heated Outer Gloves are available in black only, unisex sizes S-XL, and come complete with all required wiring and full easy to follow instructions.
